¹⁶ Circumcise therefore ^(A)the foreskin of your heart, and be no longer ^(B)stubborn.

⁶ And ^(A)the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, ^(B)so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

^25 (A)I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from ^(B)all your uncleannesses, and ^(C)from all your idols ^(D)I will cleanse you. ²⁶ And I will give you ^(E)a new heart, and ^(F)a new spirit I will put within you. ^(G)And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. ^27 (H)And I will put my Spirit within you, ^(I)and cause you to walk in my statutes and ^(J)be careful to obey my rules.^{[a] 28 (K)}You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and ^(L)you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

The Lord Will Pour Out His Spirit

^11 (A)“I baptize you with water ^(B)for repentance, but ^(C)he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you ^(D)with the Holy Spirit and ^(E)fire.

^19 (A)Go therefore and ^(B)make disciples of ^(C)all nations, ^(D)baptizing them ^(E)in^{[a] (F)}the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them ^(G)to observe all that ^(H)I have commanded you. And behold, ^(I)I am with you always, to ^(J)the end of the age.”

² And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like ^(A)a mighty rushing wind, and ^(B)it filled the entire house where they were sitting. ³ And divided tongues ^(C)as of fire appeared to them and rested^[a] on each one of them.

^33 (A)Being therefore ^(B)exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from ^(C)the Father ^(D)the promise of the Holy Spirit, ^(E)he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.

¹¹ And ^(A)such were some of you. But ^(B)you were washed, ^(C)you were sanctified, ^(D)you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
